I'm still so in awe of this session. I'm thankful for camera rain-gear, umbrellas, and Kelly Audiss (who held the umbrella like a champ while it was raining sideways AND was still able to assist in creative direction). We knew the weather wasn't going to be great (the entire week before), which almost made the session even more epic. In other words, we intentionally set out to take photos in the storm. It could have been an absolute disaster or it could have been beautiful & romantic. Need I say more? Well I'm going to because Maddie made her dress the night before. Yep. Just whipped out a gorgeous gown. Maddie is a apparel design student at Oregon State. Her work is phenomenal and I feel so excited to be able to work with an artist like her. In addition to her fun dress, she made that beautiful flower crown the morning of the session. I've known Maddie for awhile as we led YoungLife College together, and I've heard her talk fondly of Gordon over the years. It was so much fun to see them together and capture the love that they share. Link to full collection.
