Micah and I went to high school with this darling bride and groom & have known them and their families for quite awhile. When Kat asked me if I was available to photograph her wedding, my heart skipped a beat. Aside from their obvious good looks, their fun personalities and kind hearts give off this energy that makes you want to smile. If you know either of them you know exactly what I'm talking about. And their wedding day was no different (rather, a magnified version of this). Complete with gorgeous flowers, a unique backyard venue on the North Umpqua River, beautiful handmade tables, and a hint of Disney sprinkled here and there. They got engaged in Disneyland so it was only right to add a touch of classic Disney. (Seriously... check out their cake topper). The people they love came together to make this day a spectacular celebration full of memories that will last beyond their years. There was dancing and giggles, tears and tight hugs. We witnessed unsurpassable joy & the love of sweet families that share a closeness that one could not measure with words. Dakota & Katharine, your kindness is contagious & your hearts are full of so much love for those around you. Thanks for giving us the privilege of capturing the beginning of your forever. I hope these photos remind you of the happiness you felt all day on September 9th, and reflect the beautiful love story that the two of you share.
