About Audiss Photo Co. // Baby on the way!

This is us. We try to take the time to introduce ourselves every so often as we truly believe in the whole “we are real people, not just a business” concept. Also, we may look a little different than the last time you saw us... We’re also expecting a baby boy in November! 🍂 We’ve had a lot of people ask if we’ve picked a name yet (holy moly, choosing a name is such a difficult process!).. but guess what!? Here it is! We plan to name our little guy... 👶🏻 • Adley Audiss. •— Adley means “just” in Hebrew. I absolutely love this because Micah was named after Micah 6:8 — “...Act Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly...” and it just melts my heart to think that our son could have the same characteristics and qualities of the amazing man I married. We had the opportunity to do a quick impromptu maternity session after my baby shower on Sunday. We're soaking up the last month as just the two of us before our lives are totally changed and we get a new roommate. This wedding season has been absolutely crazy, exhilarating, memorable, emotional, & a huge point of growth for our business as we took it on as a team. Because of the effort we’ve poured into what we do, taking time for just “us” outside of ‘work’ has honestly been a lot harder than we thought it would be. We’ve been working long days, late hours, non-stop — but the joy & excitement that we get from the couples we work with & the LOVE we have for what we do is what keeps us going strong together. I’m super pumped to spend the next few weekends wrapping up one of the BEST wedding seasons yet... with this handsome guy by my side. And then... we’ll be rolling into the winter season doing a little less work and a lot more LIFE. We are far from perfect & we know we can serve others better when we are growing in our relationship with each other and taking time ‘off’ together and individually. We want to go into the 2019 season with the same drive and ambition that brought us into this year. Annnd I’d be lying if I said we weren’t super excited to get out and relive our favorite outdoor adventures and visit some of our fav places with Adley - but for now I like the thought of just sitting at home doing nothing but relaxing in this life that we’ve built together before he comes.

I obviously had to throw in a few goofy ones because I just love how they perfectly describe my goofball husband (and how it's okay to be silly during your session - haha!).

Also, Micah can clearly jump very high.
